Flexible, multi-colour patient-specific organ models for pre-surgical visualisation
Our custom organ models combine multi-material 3D printing with patient medical imaging data to produce flexible, anatomy-coded representations of complex soft-tissue structures. Unlike rigid bone models, organ models reproduce both shape and tissue-mimicking compliance — essential for vascular, hepatic, renal, and cardiac pre-surgical planning.
Tumour margins, vascular branching, and organ-specific anomalies are rendered in contrasting colours and materials, allowing the surgical team to plan approach vectors, assess resection margins, and rehearse complex dissections with an unprecedented degree of tactile realism.
Key Features
Anatomy-Coded Colour
Arteries, veins, tumour margins, bile ducts, and parenchyma are printed in distinct, clinically meaningful colours — reducing interpretation time.
Resection Planning
Surgeons use organ models to map resection margins and assess proximity to critical structures before the patient is on the table.
Multi-Modality Compatible
Accepts CT, MRI, PET-CT, and fused imaging datasets. Our segmentation team extracts the relevant anatomy for each organ model.
Frequently Asked
- What imaging do I need to provide?
- For vascular and organ cases, contrast-enhanced imaging or CT Angiography is required for accurate vessel tracing. MRI datasets are also accepted. Contrast-enhanced imaging is strongly preferred. See Imaging Requirements
- Do you provide segmentation, or do I need to send a segmented file?
- We handle all segmentation in-house from raw imaging data. You upload the raw scan; we deliver the model. For complex multi-organ cases, we share a segmentation preview for your approval before printing.
